IPC™ Indwelling Drainage Catheters – Pleural & Peritoneal
Rocket® IPC™ Indwelling Pleural & Peritoneal Catheter is indicated for intermittent, long term drainage of symptomatic, recurrent, pleural effusion and peritoneal ascites Including malignant pleural effusions that do not respond to medical management of underlying disease.
It is also indicated for intermittent, long-term drainage of symptomatic, recurrent, ascites, including malignant ascites and other ascites that do not respond to medical management of underlying disease. Also the palliation of symptoms related to recurrent malignant ascites.
Thoracentesis
The Thoracentesis systems are indicated for the percutaneous introduction of a catheter into the chest for the drainage of fluid.
For the simple aspiration of fluid from the pleural space. The flexible catheter is designed to safely remain in situ whilst post drainage checks are performed.

The Rocket Seldinger Chest Drainage Safety Guard & Ward Procedure Packs combines the benefits of small bore catheterisation with the ease and reliability of the Seldinger approach whether under direct vision, x-ray screening or ultrasound guidance. The sets contain the new shorter 10cm dilators with removable ‘Safety Guard’ to provide either 5cm or 10cm accessible dilator length.
